Nothing renews by itself and nothing is taken away. What costs us money is training new tutor models and the gigabytes a download moves – not you using the app. So that is what the price is for.

Questions
Does it really work without internet?
Yes. After the one-time download of the model (about 2.2 GB, best over Wi-Fi) everything runs on the phone: the tutor, speech recognition, translation of glosses. You can use it on a plane.
Why do I need an account at all?
Only to download the tutor model. The account is an e-mail address and a code – no password. It lets us give every learner one free download, let you download your model again on a new phone, and keep the free week honest. Your sentences, progress and profile never go to the account.
Which phones?
Android phones with 6 GB of RAM or more (8 GB for the larger edition); Android 13 or newer for the speaking features. iPhone is in preparation.
Is the tutor always right?
No model is. Eszett checks what the tutor says against verified grammar data before showing it, marks what it could not verify, and never corrects your sentence into something the data contradicts. When in doubt, the app says so.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, in the app under Me › Account › Delete account, or by writing to us – see deleting your account. Everything on the phone stays yours.
